Trending: Unique breweries, spirit distilleries and hard-cider bars in industrial Belmont and San Carlos

With all the construction near Wheeler Plaza in San Carlos and along El Camino in Belmont, it’s no surprise that there are changes abound in our neighborhood. We’ve seen some great new dining spots move into the area and we are poised to see a host of new businesses make Belmont and San Carlos their home once some of these projects are finalized.

But it’s not just the downtown corridors that are prospering with new businesses. We are seeing that San Carlos and Belmont are changing with the times when it comes to its variety of new breweries and wineries in its more industrial areas of each city.

For a newcomer or mid-Peninsula native, this trend is most welcomed! Not only does it bring new people to our area to support local business but it also provides us with alternatives to leaving our area to chase fun. It seems as though there is something for everyone too – whether you love craft brews, hard cider, gin or a buttery chardonnay – check out some of these new hot spots!
