It’s hard to believe that one of San Carlos’ most popular weekends is happening next week! The city’s Art and Wine Festival brings nearly 70,000 people into San Carlos to browse the amazing booths, frequent the delicious local restaurants and check out the local merchants that dot popular Laurel Street. Live music, delicious wine and beer and a host of amazing attendees make this event one of our city’s most celebrated!

This year marks an especially special one for us. It is within weeks of the event we at Dwell have been waiting for – our move further up Laurel Street! While we were originally hoping to have our doors open for the Art and Wine Festival weekend, our skilled contractors are continuing to fasten final touches and hope to have our move-in date closer to early November. Our new offices are directly next door to Sneakers on the west side of the street, quite close to San Carlos Avenue.

But those heading downtown to the Art and Wine Festival can see our progress. At least check it out from the street, its sure going to be beautiful once we move in!

You can find us pouring wine at the intersection of Laurel & Olive Street.  Please do stop by and say hello!

This year’s festival is building upon a great tradition of entertainment, community sponsorship and fun! Once again, we are proud to be beverage sponsors of the event.

You can also find, more than 250 fine artists and craft creators plan to transform downtown into an open-air art show. Live entertainment will take place on two stages and there will be a ton of specialty foods, international food and drinks and more. Our beverages include craft brews, wines, margaritas, mimosas and more! Foods run the gamut and if you don’t find something to tantalize your taste buds on the street, be sure to look at the incredible restaurants options that make San Carlos a destination for foodies.

A Family Fun Zone will keep kids busy with all of the exciting festival attractions including games, face painting and more. Those into hot rods can check out the Classic and Hot Rod Car Show on San Carlos Avenue.

Jazz bands, Rock’n’ Roll, Reggae, Steely Dan and Chicago tribute bands and R&B music will be blasting around the clock on two stages and attendees are encouraged to dance or simply sit and enjoy a cocktail or a tasty meal.

There is truly something for everyone at this festival, so be sure to block your calendar for Oct. 6 -7. We hope to see you there!
