New Eats

The mid-Peninsula is no stranger to good eats! We are so fortunate to live in a mecca of tasty bites, a blended environment where the foodie meets the hipster micro-brew specialist who then hooks up with the wine connoisseur. We are in such a sweet spot when it comes to our thriving downtown corridors which attract the freshest and newest ideas in dining and drinking and sweets. And while we might struggle to find the newest spots, we hope to bring some of them to you so you can enjoy all that this amazing location has to offer: Here are a few hot spots that are opening doors to all in the mid-Peninsula. And don’t be shy – if you’ve been to a new spot or know of one that’s planning to open – let us know so we can try it and spotlight it!!

Happy tasting!

The owner of Donato Enoteca across from the main Redwood City Library is also opening this unique restaurant, which will serve as an all around the clock type of place. Coffee will be serve coffee in the morning, grab-and-go lunches and wine and beer and small plates in the evening.

MAEBAR: MAEBAR Bistro and Lounge hopes to entice working professionals to its establishment, also located at 900 Middlefield Road in downtown Redwood City, next to Cru.
