October brings on festivals and races
We have officially entered one of our favorite seasons – Fall! The weather is cooling down and we are seeing the leaves change colors. It’s almost a kick-off to a fun-filled holiday season. This October happens to be a busy one! From wine festivals to races, we will be out and about enjoying the wonderful events alongside our mid-Peninsula’s extraordinary neighbors.
This upcoming weekend, the city of San Carlos will be hosting its ever-popular Art and Wine Festival. More than 75,000 residents and nearby neighbors will head to the streets of Laurel Street and San Carlos Avenue to enjoy delicious food, wines, arts and crafts. (Something to note is that Sunday’s San Carlos year-round Farmers’ Market will not be open this Sunday, Oct. 9 while the Art and Wine Festival is running. Folks seeking local farm fresh goods can go to nearby Belmont in the Caltrain lot across from Safeway this Sunday (and every Sunday, too) to purchase your fruits and vegetables at the Belmont Farmers’ Market.)
One of the Peninsula’s more popular festivals, this weekend’s warm weather will certainly sweeten the event, so come on out! Dwell Realtors will be helping to serve wine to patrons, so stop by our booth on Olive Street and say hello!
Toward the end of October, we are so pleased to announce that Joyce and Tatum with Dwell Realtors have signed up to be Presenting Sponsors of the famed Redwood City OktobeRun on October 29!
While we plan to lace up our running shoes, you don’t have to be a runner to particpate. This community fun event boasts three races – a half-marathon, a 10K and a 5K run/walk in downtown Redwood City.
But we’re not only sponsoring the event, we’re also participating in the event, along with friends, family and clients! We would love to have a huge team alongside us, so we are offering five FREE registration spots to the first five racers who wish to register.
