Summer-like conditions perfect for summer camp planning!

February’s beautiful, sunny weather has us already thinking about summer. Unfortunately, we are several months away from having these balmy conditions every day. But we’ll take the sunshine and let it serve a means of preparing us for a very enjoyable and well-planned summer ahead. February is actually the perfect month to sign up your children for summer camp before your preferred weeks book up. And you might even save a few bucks by registering early. So sit down with that calendar and begin mapping out your vacations and day trips and see what weeks you have open for your children to enjoy a camp or two.

Here is a list of some of our area’s more popular multi-activity summer camps. But be sure to check with each city’s recreation department for additional day camps. Stay tuned for next week’s post where we will preview our list of sports summer camps!
